where can you find talking characters in Disney world?

    Hi Michael,

There are two types of characters at Disney World: "fur" characters that look like their animated forms and "face" characters that look like humans. Examples of fur characters would be Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy. Face characters include most of the princesses, the Fairy Godmother, and Peter Pan.

All the face characters talk to guests. You can find them at the character meals at Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus, and 1900 Park Fare, as well as at meet & greet stations throughout the parks. Check the free Times Guides when you enter the parks for exact details.

The only "fur" character that talks is Mickey Mouse. Mickey will only talk when you meet him at the Town Square Hall in the Magic Kingdom. At other locations (Chef Mickey's, for example) he'll communicate only via pantomime and sign language. (He does "talk" in parades and shows, but that's a performance, not a conversation.)

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
