How can we find a list of snacks we can pick from at each park?

Hi there Sandra!  I'm so glad you stopped in to ask another great question!

Snacking my way around the 'World is one of my favorite things to do when I vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.  There are so many items that may be redeemed for a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan at dozens of locations throughout the theme parks, water parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs that there are simply too many to list.

Basically, just about any single-serving food or non-alcoholic beverage item that is not an entree counts as a snack.  This includes:

    • Bottled non-alcoholic beverages, such as soda, tea, juice, milk, and water
    • Fountain beverages, coffee, and some specialty beverages such as coffee drinks, smoothies, and floats
    • Ice cream cones or cups, small sundaes, and ice cream novelties
    • Bakery items such as bagels, muffins, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, or cinnamon rolls
    • Side items such as fries, soup, or fruit
Some of my favorite snacks are Dole Whip floats available at Aloha Isle, Pineapple Lanai, or Tamu Tamu Refreshments; homemade Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches from Plaza Ice Cream Parlor; Starbucks beverages (any size!); Lunch Box Tarts from Woody's Lunch Box; and Blue or Green Milk from the Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge .  In addition, many items at the food kiosks at festivals such as the Epcot International Festival of the Arts are available for snack credits.

An easy way to get an idea of what type of items qualify as snacks is to look at the Mobile Ordering feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Menus will state "Qualifies as a Snack".  During your visit, just look for the purple and white Disney Dining Plan symbol indicating snack items on the menu boards at Quick-Service dining locations, stands and carts.

My friend and fellow panelist Jessica is a whiz at using her snack credits for all kinds of yummy treats.  She recently listed some of her favorites in this response to another Guest.

I hope that helps!  Have a wonderful vacation, and happy snacking!
