    Lilia from TX Asked

I find your advice very helpful. I have reservations at New Orleans Riverside and would like to know which of the two sections is better. The Alligator Bayou does not sound too appealing. Thanks for your help.

Hi Lilia - This is really a matter of personal preference, and you'd probably get a different answer from different people.  My opinion is that the Alligator Bayou area is good for families (especially because of the trundle beds) and the theme is fun for kids.  However, the Magnolia Bend rooms are also very nice, and the buildings are lovely, especially for adults with no children.

If Alligator Bayou doesn't appeal to you, and you don't need the trundle, I'd definitely recommend requesting a mansion room.

If you'd like a more in-depth look at the resort prior to deciding, I'd recommend you look at the independent site www.portorleans.org.  There's lots of photos, maps, and information about the entire resort.
