Is there financial assistance for families with children with disabilities?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna! I’m always crunching my numbers to make my trip to Walt Disney World as valuable as possible! It’s a real treat to bring my husband and my kids on vacation with me, and we try to find our magic each day without spending a fortune or feeling too rushed.

While there is no financial assistance available for anyone, you may find some amazing deals on the special offers page that make a longer trip to Walt Disney World feasible. I highly recommend visiting Disney during the value season, and staying at a value Resort to keep the magic close and your wallet full. These Resorts include all the magical activities and amenities, as well as on-property transportation, theming and Disney’s Magical Express transportation to and from the airport. My family also does NOT use the dining plan as it’s too much food for us; we save money by ordering free large, lidded cups of ice water and purchasing a smart snack like the refillable popcorn bucket. It will last us all trip long for minimal cost. I also order groceries via Garden Grocer for breakfast or lunches in the room at a huge savings. You may want to consider spending a day at your Resort and enjoying the pools and playgrounds, or visiting Disney Springs for the ambiance and street-side music and entertainment. There are a lot of ways to deeply enjoy the included fun and wisely spend your money. Check the special offers page often for its deep savings and coupons. It's a great way to save a buck and party with Mickey!

If I can help you plan more, please let me know. I’d love to help you find a free-to-use TA for savings, or find other freebies around the park. I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
