I have finally decided to order a memory maker for our Disney trip in late June, however my magic bands are already on the way. Will I receive a memory maker card or will it automatically be linked if I do it from Mydisneyexperience?

Hey, Monica! I am so glad you are thinking of purchasing Memory Maker for your vacation. As our family's chief photographer, our vacation pictures always looked as if my husband traveled alone with the kids. With Disney's PhotoPass photographers heading up our vacation shots, I actually now get to come from behind the camera and be a part of the memory with the family.

Make sure you head to this link to take advantage of the great advance purchase price on Memory Maker. You must complete your purchase three days before you take your first PhotoPass picture. This previous question gives an explanation of how to make the three-day rule work for your family. If you are late for this very important date, then any PhotoPass pictures taken within three days of the purchase will not be included in your Memory Maker entitlement and will need to be purchased separately.

Once you complete your purchase online, it should automatically link to your My Disney Experience account. If you notice that it is not appearing in your account, you can link it with the purchase confirmation number. When the Memory Maker purchase is effectively connected to your account, Disney's PhotoPass photographers will be able to link all pictures taken to your account via your MagicBands. No need to do anything special to the MagicBands that are on their way to you.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Monica! Please stop by again if you think of any other questions before your trip begins.
