I have finally convinced my partner to go to WDW, It'll be our first 'real' vacation with just the 2 of us. We're 20 without kids. He's not looking forward to it and he's never been to Disney. What/Where can I take him to make it really special?

    Hi Anna:

Congrats on convincing a reluctant traveler to head to Disney World.  You'll probably want to show him that Disney World is not just it's a small world. Here are some rides fit for twenty-somethings with no kids:
    • Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
    • Epcot: Test Track, Mission Space
    • Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania (kids or no kids, this is a must-do), Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
    • Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and Dinosaur.

Head for a night to take in the entertainment, shops, restaurants, and nightlife of the Boardwalk area and Downtown Disney.  At the Boardwalk area, stop by ESPN Club or Jellyrolls.  At Downtown Disney, try some Irish pub food at Raglan Road, and balloon ride with Characters in Flight, a very romantic experience with a breathtaking view of Disney World property and beyond. Try a walking tour of the countries of World Showcase in Epcot and try your favorite or new adult drinks.

You can also think about some fishing, watercraft rentals, golf, mini-golf, or tennis.  Also look into the Richard Petty Driving Experience, where you can drive or ride shotgun in a NASCAR-style stock car at speeds up to 120mph.

    Enjoy your vacation.
