My fight home doesn’t leave MCO till 9:30 pm . What’s the latest possible time the Magic express will pick us up at the resort ? We have check out @ 11 ? Does that mean we have to leave the resort @ 11 or can we stay & swim shop etc for the day ?

    Hi Nicole!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you've planned your final vacation day the same way I do. I like to book evening flights so we can enjoy every last bit of magic before we head home and that's what you will be able to do during your vacation. I think you will find that Disney's Magical Express is perfect for your transportation between Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando International Airport because you don't have to worry about navigation or parking during your vacation!

In general, Disney's Magical Express will pick you up approximately four hours in advance of your flight. You will get a Transportation Notice for your return trip to Orlando International Airport on the door of your Disney Resort hotel room the day before your trip, which will include your specific pick-up time for your bus. Even though you will need to check-out of your hotel at 11:00 a.m., you will still be able to enjoy the remainder of your day. If you are flying one of the participating airlines, you can take advantage of Resort Airline Check-In, which is a service that will get you all checked in for your flight and check your luggage right at your Disney Resort hotel. You can also check your items at Bell Services of your Disney Resort hotel and they will hold your bags for the day before you pick them up and bring them with you on your Disney's Magical Express bus to the airport. Once your bags are taken care of, you are free to enjoy the theme parks, Disney Springs or the amenities of your Disney Resort hotel during the day before your departure on Disney's Magical Express!

Come back to see us if you have additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
