Mom And Son On Run

My fiancee and I are going to Disney for our honeymoon, what are some tips for us while we are there?

John, Walt Disney World is the perfect place for romance!  My daughter was married there and had a baby shower there and my son became engaged on the great Grand 1 yacht!

There are some great intimate dining options for you to consider. Victoria and Alberts is the finest restaurant on property and you have three choices for a dining experience. You can ask to reserve the Chef's Table and dine in the kitchen among the fine chefs as they serve you all the best they can make. You can also dine in the special more intimate room or the regular dining room. All need reservations in advance and are priced according to the experience.  Citricos and the Flying Fish restaurants also have special wine and food pairing dinners and are intimate small group events. Both would be a wonderful treat for you and your bride to enjoy.

Consider reserving a fireworks cruise for the two of you. The Grand One yacht from the Grand Floridian is the ultimate but the pricing for this boat is also the ultimate.  More reasonable and just as exciting are the pontoon boats you can rent with driver for either the Magic Kingdom Wishes show or the Epcot Illuminations show. Be sure and add some chocolate covered strawberries from room service for the special touch!

Take an adventurous tour while you are there. Perhaps you both can tackle learning how to handle a Segway or for a faster adventure try Richard Petty race cars.  The Wild Africa Trek at the Animal Kingdom is an awesome tour where you get behind the scenes and do things all other guests just dream about such as watching the hippos being fed.

Make sure you let the Dream Makers deck out your room with floral or other special arrangements while you are there. They can make dreams come true from flowers to champagne and chocolates. I have run out of room but this is just the start of ideas for you on your honeymoon! Congratulations!
