Hi Erica!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations to you and your fiance on becoming part of the
Disneyland Resort Annual Passport family. You have such a magical year ahead with
Pixar Fest just around the corner and the all-new Pixar Pier opening this summer. I'm most excited about my favorite nighttime parade, Paint the Night, returning later this month with its jaw-dropping colorful light-up floats and energetic music.
I really admire your creativity for thinking of putting your Annual Passport barcode on a wristband. Keep in mind that your actual Annual Passport cannot be altered. If you choose to photocopy the barcode it may be up to the discretion of the Cast Member at the entry gate to accept this as a form of entry. Also be aware that you will always need your physical Annual Passport card and a form of identification with you in the parks for your merchandise and dining discounts.
A sure thing and even easier suggestion I have is to link your Annual Passport to the official
Disneyland app on your mobile device. When you enter the parks you can then just scan this app at the entry gates. I always link my park ticket as well as my family's tickets to the app. You can just scroll through the linked tickets on one person's mobile device to scan everyone's ticket in your party when you enter. It's so convenient!
I hope this helps, and I can't wait for you to start making magical memories with your fiance at the Happiest Place on Earth!
