    Brandy from TX Asked

Hi!!! My fiance and I have 4 children collectively. We have 2 yr old twins. They will be turning 3 in March. We wanted to take our family to either Disney world or Disneyland. Can someone please guide me.

    Hi Brandy,

There are so many advantages of each location that I truly believe you would have a Magical vacation at either destination.  In fact this question is akin to "which dessert should I order?"  Hmm, good question!  However since I have visited both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida with small children in tow, I do feel Walt Disney World offers more advantages to you considering your family circumstances.

First, Walt Disney World will likely be closer to you than Disneyland.  Whether you fly or drive, when traveling with preschoolers the shorter time in transit the better.  Another benefit of traveling to Walt Disney World is that complimentary transportation is provided between Orlando International Airport and your Disney Resort hotel via Disney's Magical Express.  Additionally at Walt Disney World you have the option of choosing a dining plan as part of a vacation package, thereby taking care of the majority of your food expenses in advance.  And finally Walt Disney World is much larger with 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and many other venues to explore.  I could literally spend a month vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort and still not experience all there is to do.

Brandy I hope this information helps you with your decision.  Remember that there is no "wrong" answer, it really is a personal choice and I hope you are able to enjoy both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts at some point in the future.

Once you have made your choice, we would love the opportunity to help answer any more vacation planning questions.  Just come back and visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Blessings,

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
