Hi! My fiancée and I just booked our honeymoon on a Disney Cruise and was wondering the best way to get from Disney World to Port Canaveral. We want to take in a couple days at the parks first. Any ideas on the easiest way?

    Ahoy Sean –
Congratulations on your wedding and upcoming honeymoon! And wow, how exciting to celebrate your special occasion with Disney Cruise Line! A Disney cruise truly has something for everyone, and your honeymoon will be both amazing and relaxing. Make sure to mention you are honeymooners to your travel agent or call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 so that your reservation notes will be updated. Visit Guest Services at Deck 3 Midship to get your special button so that everyone can celebrate along with you. If you plan to stay at a Walt Disney Resort Hotel prior to your cruise, you have the option to set up Ground Transportation to the cruise terminal. Guests take the 45-minute ride to the port in air-conditioned motor coaches and arrive to the terminal stress-free. The current cost is $35 each way for adults. To arrange ground transportation guests can do so online, by their travel agent, or calling Disney Cruise Line. Other options to the port include rental car, private shuttle or limo service. Sean, I hope this helps with your planning and thanks for visiting with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
