Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Is the fenced in area just in front of Casey's corner available to anyone for fireworks viewing? I noticed you can no longer reserve a fast pass for it.

    Hi Lisa,

It is always fun to help a fellow Bay Stater plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

The fenced in area which you are referring to is now used for the Plaza Garden Viewing for the Happily Ever After Dessert Party. My three daughters and I recently enjoyed this special event, and we absolutely loved the view from within the fenced in area. Everyone was sitting down, and it offered a practically perfect vantage point. If you are considering booking this dessert party, you'll want to note that there are two different viewing spots which are offered. One is the Plaza Garden viewing which is $59 for adults and $35 for children ages 3-9. There is also the Tomorrowland Terrace viewing which is $79 for adults and $47 for children ages 3-9. The Tomorrowland Terrace viewing has seats at tables, while the Plaza Garden viewing is in the fenced area. You can choose to sit or stand in the Plaza Garden (if you aren't blocking anyone's view). Personally, I was thrilled to be able to sit on the astroturf and give my weary feet a rest. I prefer the vantage point of the Plaza Garden as opposed to the Tomorrowland Terrace, as you can see the projections on Cinderella Castle better. To make reservations, call (407) WDW-DINE.

    Wishing you magical memories,
