Hello fellow Disney-loving mothers! My kids loved Disney so much the first time that I want to start planning our second trip, yet it's probably not going to happen until late 2013 or early 2014. Is it too crazy to try and book right now? When's good?

    Hi Morgan,

You and I must be kindred spirits; I like to plan ahead too, especially when it comes to vacations at Walt Disney World!  Room-only reservations can be made at Disney resorts up to 499 days in advance of your proposed arrival date.  If you hope to book a vacation package (including theme park tickets and a dining plan), however, you will have to wait until closer to your departure date (perhaps one year in advance).  If you are within 499 days of your trip, you could always book a room now and then upgrade your vacation plans to include tickets and a dining plan at a later date when they become available.

Meanwhile, if there's anything the Moms Panel can do to help you plan, don't hesitate to ask!

    Best wishes,
