Hi we are going in february and trying to deceide on where to make reservation. Any suggestion would be great. My children are 10 and 12 so they will not be able to use there dining plan on kids choices. When a buffet states a kids corner can they eat that

Hi Amber! My kids are about the same ages as yours, so I'm happy to share some of our favorite Disney World restaurants with you! My kids request a trip to the Sci-Fi Dine-In on every trip because its so much fun to sit in cars watching campy movies while the servers whiz by on roller skates. For character meals, we enjoy the fun atmosphere at Chef Mickey's, the tasty food at Crystal Palace, and the magic of dining in the Castle with the princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table. The California Grill in the Contemporary is a fine dining experience but it has wonderful flatbread pizzas that my kids love and is a great place to view the Wishes fireworks. In Epcot our whole family loves the pizzas at Via Napoli. Our trips to Epcot also usually include a stop at the Rose & Crown, where we love the fish and chips, and Le Cellier, where my kids adore the complimentary  pretzel bread and I love the Cheese Soup. 'Ohana in the Polynesian has a fun atmosphere for families and nothing says vacation to me more than a frozen tropical cocktail. The sheer volume of grilled meats and side dishes the server brings to the table there always makes me giggle -- you will not leave 'Ohana hungry, and a kids menu is available upon request for picky eaters.

Just because Disney considers your 10 and 12-year-olds "adults" for pricing purposes doesn't mean that they can't still order from the children's menus at the restaurants. If nothing on the adult menus appeals to them, they can request an item from the kiddie menu instead. (Of course, it's not the most cost-effective use of their adult Dining Plan credits, but there's no sense in ordering adult entrees if they don't like them.) Also, all the buffets have a section of kid-friendly foods, but adults are also welcome to eat those items too.
