Hi! February, 2016 is our next trip and my daughter is taking a friend. We have magic bands from a previous trip to WDW and would like to have my daughter's friend use one of the old bands for our FP+ reservations. Is this possible?

    Hello, Laura!

It's so wonderful that you have the opportunity to share a bit of Disney magic with your daughter's friend next February! I always love visiting the Disney theme parks with friends and extended family, especially when it is a first visit.

At this time, MagicBands are nontransferable and must be used only by the person that the MagicBand was originally linked to. If you would like for your daughter's friend to have her own MagicBand for your vacation, you can order one online from the Disney Store for a small fee, or purchase one from a retail location when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort.

If your daughter's friend will be sharing a Disney Resort hotel room with your family, she will receive a complimentary MagicBand for your trip -- in fact, all of you will receive new ones to unlock the door to your Disney Resort hotel room.

I hope you all have a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Laura! If you have any additional questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Hope to hEAR from you soon!
