My father is retired from the military and purchased the discounted 4day park hopper military tickets for my family and I for my sons' 7th birthday. Does he have to be present when we go to Disney world? We are planning to go June17-21 from San Diego.

    Hi Diana!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

If you are referring to the 4 day promotional military tickets then the answer is your father has to be present to activate them.  Basically, he has to fill out some forms at Guest Services to physically get tickets for the rest of your family.

However, if your father has just picked up discounted tickets available for the military at a local military base or federal government agency, then the answer is "no".  The tickets are ready to go and I have never seen Disney ask for any proof of military service.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
