I got a fastpass for my 5 year old daughter to the Disney Jr. Live Dance Party a Hollywood Studios. Do I also have to get a fastpass for the show or can I go in with her without a fastpass?

Hi Tamara, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by today with your question. Let's get our toes tapping with our Disney Junior pals at their brand new dance party!

As the mom of a little guy, I've been watching the great shows on Disney Junior for years. And you know what? I'm as much of a fan as he is! I'm so excited to check out the new Disney Junior Dance Party! live show at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Little Mousketeers (and their fangirling parents!) rock out with Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, Timon, and even Mickey Mouse himself.

Guests using FastPass+ are allowed to enter the theater first, and everyone in your party must have a FastPass+ to use this option. But in my opinion, Tamara, you don't really need FastPass+ for this attraction. I saw the previous show in this theater many times, and it's just a large open floor with a stage. Once entering the theater, you can sit almost anywhere on the floor. And the kids will be up and dancing when the show starts anyway! I'd hop in the standby line about 15-20 minutes before showtime and use that FastPass+ selection for something else.

If your daughter can't get enough of her favorite characters, be sure to stop by the Disney Junior pals meet-and-greet location just outside the theater. Plus, you can have breakfast with them at the Disney Junior Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine.

Tamara, I hope you and your little princess have a magical time singing and dancing along with our friends from Disney Junior. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
