how does Fastpass work ? If we have a party of 4, when we insert our tix at a fastpass booth, how do we ensure that all 4 of us have the same return time?

    Hi, Lisa!

Disney FASTPASS Service is a wonderful tool to help you make the most of your time at the Disneyland Resort because you can be experiencing other attractions and shows while your place in line is saved. Less time in queues means more time enjoying all the parks have to offer!

A tip to streamline the process of receiving your FASTPASSes is to send just one person from your party with all of the park tickets to wait in the FASTPASS distribution queue and insert the tickets one right after the other. That way, you’re even more likely to receive a set of FASTPASSes that all have the same return time window. However, if one or two people do end up with a later time than the rest, it won’t be a significant difference (probably only 5 minutes), in which case your group should just wait until the later return time to ride the attraction together. In my experience, Cast Members tend to be strict with enforcing the beginning of the return time window on the FASTPASSes, so it’s best to wait until that exact minute to get in the queue, and no earlier.

I hope this helps, Lisa. Please write back with any other questions you may have about “The Happiest Place on Earth” as you continue to plan your vacation!
