Hi, I have a fastpass for Wishes. The time the fastpass says to arrive is 9.40pm for a 10pm fireworks start. All the blogs I have read recommend you arrive about 8.30pm. Do you think I will be OK to arrive at 9.40pm and get a good spot. Many thanks

Hi there, Shaylee! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You asked this question at the perfect time! My family and I just saw Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the new FastPass+ viewing area last night. I thought it was an amazing experience! We chose the East area, to the right as you're facing Cinderella Castle. We arrived at about 9:30, which gave us time to scope out our place and sit down on the lawn for a few minutes before the show began. You may find that you'll need to stand once it gets underway, since Guests in front of you will likely stand to see over other people in the walkway just beyond the railing.

In our experience, getting there any earlier than 9:30 really wouldn't have been necessary. That may change for particularly busy times like Christmas or Easter, but in general I don't think you need to worry about finding a good spot in the FastPass+ area to experience this incredible show.

I hope this helps you in your planning, Shaylee. Please visit us again if we can answer any more questions. We love to help!

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K.

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
