I have fastpass tickets (3/day/park), what is the best time to book the most popular rides to take full advantage. I was thinking probably to book them when the rides are busiest and queue as normal for quieter times, but what are the busiest times?

Hi Toni! There are many different views on this for sure. Now that you can get a 4th then 5th etc FastPass once you have used your initial three some families are opting to get them as early as possible. I definitely wouldn't arrange them for late in the day or night as then you will likely be unable to get any more as they just won't be available.

I usually start my FastPass+ selections around 11am unless I am trying to get one park completed early so I can head to another park for the rest of the day. If that is the case then I book them as early as possible and one right after the other. The first two hours of a park opening will find the lowest lines for the attractions. There are some exceptions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in the Magic Kingdom and the new Frozen Even After ride in Epcot. These attractions are busy from the minute the park opens until it closes and the fastpasses disappear within hours of when they are available.

It does become a puzzle of sorts trying to figure it out and guessing crowd numbers. What will help is if you arrive at a park opening and hit a few popular attractions before the lines become long then rely on your three FastPasses for the next few hours. Add a lunch time in there and then as soon as the third FastPass has been completed try booking a fourth one. Starting mid day in all parks the lines will grow and you won't see much difference until early evening. If it rains some of those lines will diminish.

Good luck with the planning of the day.....it is fun figuring it all out and seeing how it all works for the family when you get there!
