If we have a fastpass+ reserved for our family for a certain ride and then one of us doesn't want to use the reservation can another member in our family/group put on that person's magic band and take advantage of the fastpass+ reservation ride?

    Hi Connie!

Aren't FastPass+ reservations amazing? There's nothing quite like being able to save precious time in the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort by scanning your MagicBand and entering the queue reserved for Guests with FastPass+ reservations.

I witnessed an instance when a friend with a FastPass+ reservation for Avatar Flight of Passage gave her MagicBand to someone else in our travel party who didn't have a FastPass+ reservation so that she could access her banshee ride through the FastPass queue. (Now that's a true friend!) As long as both people in this type of exchange have entered the theme park using their MagicBands, it should work. It's a great way to make sure that every FastPass+ reservation is enjoyed by someone. Therefore, the answer to your question is yes. One family member in your group who opts to skip a ride for which they have a FastPass+ reservation should be able to loan his or her MagicBand to someone else so that FastPass+ reservation does not go to waste.

Enjoy every minute of your time with your family at Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
