What does a FastPass+ for Epcot's Illuminations show get you? We are going the first week in February and plan to be at Epcot on Sunday, 2/2. Would I be better off getting a fast pass for Soarin or Illuminations? We will arrive at the park around 2 pm.

    Hi Lisa!

I have tried out the new FastPass + system and I really like it.  The FastPass + for Illuminations:Reflections of Earth will let you in to a special viewing area which normally is located between the two stores at the entrance to World Showcase.  I have watched Illuminations: Reflections of Earth in this location many times and it really provides a great view.  The main benefit is that you will not have to wait for a good viewing spot around the World Showcase Lagoon (typically you would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to secure a prime view spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth).  All that being said, I would recommend using your FastPass + for Soarin' because the wait times for this attraction can typically range from 90 to 120 minutes or more.  You could find a prime spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth only 30 minutes ahead of time.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World trip is truly magical in every way!
