When I make Fast Pass + reservations does my whole family have to all do the same 3 Fast Passes or can we split up and have some of us do one Fast Pass ride while others use a Fast Pass on another ride?

Hey there, Kathryn! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Looks like your 60-day window to start making your FastPass+ selections is about to open. Let's help you get planning!

First, the basics of FastPass+. You can select three FastPass+ attractions or experiences for each person in your party in advance. When you go into your My Disney Experience account to make your selections, you'll see the names of each person that you can choose FastPass+ attractions for. If you want everyone to go on the same attraction at the same time, just hit the check box for "All." But you'll see that you can also choose each individual separately. That's the key to splitting up your advance selections. Just check the names of your group you'd like to select for a particular attraction, then choose the FastPass+ experiences you want to schedule for them. Everyone can do something different, you can split up into smaller groups, or you can all go together. It's a great way to customize your plans.

When you're in the Theme Parks and have finished your initial three FastPass+ attractions, you can start selecting more, one at a time, by visiting the kiosks inside each park. And just like when you made your advance selections, your group can choose different attractions by selecting individual members from the list on the kiosk screen.

FastPass+ gives you flexibility to choose not only which experiences you choose and when, but also who will experience each one. I hope this helps you make the most of your time at Walt Disney World, Kathryn. If you have any more questions, please come see us again. We love to help!

    Have a magical day,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
