Are fast pass reservations usually needed for events and rides at Animal Kingdom? We don't plan on arriving at Animal Kingdom until 11 or 12, and staying til our dinner reservation at 5. Is this enough time?

    Hi there Kristine!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions!  Because my family will often pair a half day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park with an evening at a second park, we don't always book our 3 FastPass+ selections for the first park. That being said, if you are only visiting one park on the day of your visit, I would definitely recommend using your 3 FastPass+ selections in order to decrease your wait time and ensure that you are able to experience everything on your "must do" list.  During our visit in November, we arrived at 11:00 a.m. and left the park around 4:15 p.m. During that time, we were able to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris, DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Kali River Rapids, and Festival of the Lion King. We had also booked FastPass+ selections for three of the attractions in advance. We honestly would have needed a little extra time in order to experience Finding Nemo - The Musical or Flights of Wonder, but my boys only wanted to see one show on that particular day.

I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to visit me again if I can be of further assistance to you. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kristine!

    Happy Travels,
