What is a fast pass and what is the cost? It will also be a birthday celebration trip.

    Hello Debby,

Welcome, thank you for writing us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah day! I'm so excited for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You are going to make magical memories that will last a lifetime.

The Disney Parks created an ingenious system to help reduce long waits at the most popular attractions and named it FastPass. Your FastPass gives you a return time for later in the day. Just remember to return within this scheduled FastPass+ return time and then enter through the FastPass entrance and not the Standby entrance. This is a fun and free service to use while visiting the Disney Parks. Recently, the famous Mouse, began implementing a new improved program at Walt Disney World called FastPass+. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you can use the My Disney Experience website and mobile app to customize your MagicBands prior to arrival and schedule FastPass+ ride times. Day Guests will use in-park kiosks to plan ride times upon arrival. For more information on how FastPasses work, check out the Frequently Asked Questions page.

The Disney Parks are all about celebrating! Be sure to stop by Guest Services and get a free Birthday button to wear during your trip; Cast Members that see the button in the parks will be sure to send warm wishes throughout the day.

You can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake hotline at (407) 827-2253 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

If you have any more questions planning your pixie-dusted trip, please don't hesitate to ask us.

    chEARs!
