With the fast pass+ does an adult have to use a fastpass to ride with a child ( like dumbo) or does the child use their fastpass and the adult automatically gets to ride with the child?

Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Shannon ~

I am a big fan of Disney FastPass+ service (FP+). It saves so much time and I know before my trip I will get to do some of my must do attractions or meet my favorite characters with a much shorter wait time.

Guests ages 2 or younger are admitted to the parks for free and do not need to make FP+ selections. Each Guest ages 3 or older must make a FP+ selection for that attraction in order to enter the FP+ queue. That includes rides like Dumbo or meeting Princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall so be sure to include yourself when making the FP+ selections for your family. You will need to scan your MagicBand or card when you enter the FP+ queue and again closer to boarding the attraction.

After you have used all of the FP+ selections you made in advance (this means all of the windows of returns times have passed even if you missed one of your FP+ times), you can then select an additional FP+. After you finished that FP+, you can select another one, and so on.

Your additional FP+ selections can be made at a FP+ kiosk within the same park as the original 3 FP+ selections or you can also go to a different park from your previous selections to obtain another FP+ (if available). If you want to go to a different park, you will need the Park Hopper Option on your tickets.

Your additional FP+ selections can be a repeat of one of your previous FP+ selections if FP+ is still available for that attraction.
