how far in advance can you start making reservations for dinner and character meets and fast pass? Trip is scheduled for March 2015.

Sounds like you're planning a trip near Spring Break.

You can begin making dining reservations at 180 days out from the arrival date of your trip. HINT: If you have trouble booking your favorite restaurant at the beginning of your trip, look at the dates toward the end of your reservation dates. Because those dates will be more than 180 days away, you'll have a better chance of landing the reservation destination and time you prefer.

If you are staying at a Disney resort, you may begin making FastPass+ selections 60 days out from your arrival (30 days out if you are staying off-property). Just like dining, if you find that there are attractions that have filled up near the beginning of your trip, look at the dates near the end. You can book up to an extra 10 days out from your arrival date, essentially allowing you to booking a FP+ 70 days in advance.

    Wishing you a  magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
