    Mary from OH Asked

How far in advance can you make dinner RSVP's? I am looking at the questions and it seems that there is no time, many people are not being able to get a seat? Thanks

    Hello, Mary,

Thank you for your question at making advanced dining reservations at Walt Disney World.  Dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance.  If you are a Disney resort guest, you can make up to 10 days worth of reservations when you are 180 days out from your arrival date.  To determine this date, I use the website pscalculator.net.

Reservations can be made online at 6 AM EST or by phone at 407-WDW-DINE at 7 AM EST.  When making reservations, I think it is always best to start with the restaurants that are the most important to you rather than approaching them chronologically.  If you have multiples dates and times when you can dine, that will also increase the odds of securing a dining reservation.

If you can't get the reservation when you first try, please make sure and continue to check back.  I know from experience how often we change our dining plans.  In fact, just last week while at Walt Disney World I secured a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant just one day before we had hoped to dine there. Also, Disney Dining Buddy is an independent website that will monitor restaurant availability on your behalf.  There is a small fee, but one that some guests find to be a worthwhile investment.

I hope this helps to answer your question.  If you have any additional ones, please don't hesitate to let us know.  -Kara
