Hi Loretta!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I certainly admire your budgeting skills. When planning this far in advance you'll have to piece things together as you go to create your Disney dream vacation. But it's a great way to resEARch all of your options including where you want to stay,
where you'd like to eat, and what you'd like to experience when you're here.
Currently,
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room-only reservations can be booked up to 499 days in advance of your check-
out date. (The reservation system only goes out to 499 days away.) Other details of your Disney days won't be available until closer to your arrival date. Tickets and
Disney Dining Plans are usually available for purchase between 12 and 18 months in advance of your vacation. Dining Reservations may be made up to 180 days before you first arrive. And FastPass+ selections can be made up to 60 days in advance of your first theme park day of fun.
While you can both make payments on and/or move your Disney Resort Hotel room-only reservation as your needs change, a better plan for this far out would be to buy
Disney Gift Cards and then use those gift cards to pay off your vacation down the line. Disney Gift Cards can be found in various amounts in your hometown at places like grocery, big box and drug stores, as well as warehouse and wholesale club locations. Some of these places even offer occasional discounts or offers where you'll get a slightly higher value than what you'll actually pay.
I hope this helped with your planning, Loretta!
