We have the fantastic dining package for march 31. We wanted to see the nighttime stars Wars galactica show too. Is there enough time to see both? Fantastic starts at 8:30 and Star Wars at 9:00. We want good seating for the Star Wars show. Recommendation?

    Hi Summer!

I'm happy to hear you've reserved a Fantasmic! Dining Package at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You'll enjoy a delicious meal, then receive a pass for VIP seating for Fantasmic! Guests begin lining up to see this amazing nighttime show early, sometimes over an hour or more before showtime. With your reserved seating, you won't have to arrive until 20-30 minutes before the show. More time to enjoy the theme park is always a good thing! Specific seats aren't assigned - guests choose seats within the reserved section on a first-come, first-served basis.

I understand your dilemma in wanting to experience both Fantasmic! and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, Hollywood Studios' awesome Star Wars-themed nighttime fireworks show. With the 8:30 showing of Fantasmic! having a duration of 30 minutes and the fireworks beginning at 9pm, unfortunately,  it's difficult to see both.

If you have your heart set on catching the fireworks, you'll need to make an early exit from the amphitheater. (The end of the show is super cute, so try and stay as long as you can!) With your VIP ticket, you'll have entered at the gates next to Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage, and entered the amphitheater in the upper left section. To view the fireworks, you'll want to exit at the far upper right. That path will take you to the front of the park at the Crossroads of the World gift shop.

You'll be able to view the fireworks from any spot on Hollywood Boulevard. My advice would be to try and make it at least halfway down Hollywood Boulevard if possible. No worries if the crowd is too thick -  you'll still be able to enjoy them, even from the very front of the park. The only part of the show that may be difficult to see are the projections on the Chinese Theatre (The Great Movie Ride).

I hope this helps! Enjoy the show(s)! - Diane W.
