I have the Fantasmic and ROL dining packages booked. Does everyone on the reservation have to eat? We have a reservation for the Bon Voyage Breakfast at the Boardwalk. Do we all have to eat there too?

    Hi, Robyn!

I find getting the Dining Packages for nighttime events is so convenient. I like knowing my dining reservation is made and guaranteed seating at the ever-popular Fantasmic! and the new Rivers of Light show. You have made plans for magical evenings in the parks!

Every guest at your table age 3 and older will need to pay to participate in the Dining Packages. With the dining comes the VIP seating, so there is a lot of value to this. Whether or not they eat is up to them, but they will be charged so I say come hungry and enjoy! If you prefer to not do the Dinner Package, you can cancel your reservations and enjoy the nighttime shows by using the Stand-by lines or reserve a FastPass+ for seating. You will need to decide what is most beneficial for your travel party.

All guests at character dining experiences will be charged. The Bon Voyage Breakfast is a set price for adults and children (about $34 adult/$20 child - subject to change) which includes your breakfast and meeting Rapunzel, Ariel, and others. There is the added value of the entertainment with the character interaction so all (age 3 and older) must be paying guests. I hope you get to enjoy this fun start to one of your magical days.

If you decide that you do not have big eaters and these dining experiences will not work out, make sure to cancel your reservations to avoid any "no show" penalty. Whatever you decide, wishing you a wonderful vacation in Walt Disney World!
