Hi moms! My family's planning a vacation to WDW this fall and we're going to be staying at the Art of Animation. I was wondering if it is possible to eat a character breakfast on our day of check out. Will there not be enough time for us to enjoy the meal?

    Hi Isabella!

You will love the Art of Animation Resort!

You can definitely enjoy a character breakfast on your day of check-out, but follow one of the suggestions below:

    1. Are you flying out? If so, you can take advantage of the Magical Express since you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort. Simply check-out of your room FIRST, then check-in at the Magical Express desk at your resort and ask them to hold your bags until you return. Then, after your breakfast, return to the Magical Express counter to check-in and retrieve your bags.
    2. If you are driving and not flying, check-out of your room first and load up  your car. Then drive over to the character breakfast and begin your drive back home afterwards.
    3. Or you can make your Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for the earliest possible time, usually 8:00 a.m. is the earliest time, and then make sure you are 15 minutes early so you can be one of the first seated. You can enjoy your breakfast, which usually lasts an hour, then make it back to your resort in time to check-out. Just make sure your bags are at least all packed up so you can simply grab your bags and go.
I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
