    I still have my family's magic bands from a previous trip in 2015. We are going back to Disney World in July 2019. Will our old magic bands still work if I link our tickets to them.

    Thanks for visiting with us again!

    Your current MagicBands should still be in working condition even with the arrival of the MagicBand 2.0. We have old MagicBands that are our favorites that we have used for some time now with no problem. Just make sure that you check that each MagicBand is listed as active in your My Disney Experience account. Just log in, click on My MagicBands and Cards and search the list of your previous MagicBands and make sure it says "active" next to it. You'll be all set to experience the magic upon your arrival.

    If for some reason those MagicBands don't work once you arrive at Disney, stop by any Guest Relations location, which is found at the entrance of each theme park or the front desk of your Disney resort to get admission cards. Admission Cards work just like your MagicBand. You can also purchase new MagicBands if you'd like while you're on your vacation. MagicBands can be found throughout all of the resort and theme parks. There are even some MagicBands that are only sold while on property and can't be found on the shopDisney website or mobile app.
