Hi, this is my family's first Disney trip and we're staying the week of Christmas 2014. There is 6 of us 2 adults and 4 kids we all have park hopper passes and are staying off Disney. Any advice on must do or must see at certain parks and also dining?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Calverick ~

You are going to visit Walt Disney World during the most magical time of the year! The parks and resorts are gorgeous for the holidays! The Christmas holiday season also has one of the highest crowd levels of the year. Don't worry - with a little planning you will still have an amazing trip! Here are some tips for traveling to Disney World during peak seasons. Be sure you plan to arrive early at the parks.

Here are some special holiday things to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort during your trip.

As far as dining goes, at this point I would go online to try to book Advanced Dining Reservations or call 407-WDW-DINE and get anything you can. If you are unable to get any reservations, don't worry, there are a lot of great quick service options in all of the parks and resorts.

If you have not already done so, create a My Disney Experience account. Once you have created your account, link your theme park tickets for everyone in your family. You can then make Disney FastPass+service (FP+) selections.

I am not sure how old the kids are in your family, but if you would like to visit us again with their ages and which parks you plan to visit, I am happy to offer must-dos for you.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We will be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
