Hi, my familyDh, DS/12, &DD/7 all love the thrill rides, but I don't . I was wondering if I can stand in the line with them ( I understand I will have to use a fast pass too) and just opt not to go on the ride when it's time? So we can be together as

    Hi Melissa:

I'm with you.  I love Disney World, but DO NOT like drops, so I've used that so-called "chicken exit" on the intense Disney attractions many times.  Disney will not force you on any rides, so you can accompany your family on the queue and use the "chicken exit" without riding.  Often there are signs directing you to these exits, or you can ask a Cast Member at the end of the line where the nearest exit is and they will point you in the right direction. I would make sure you have a meeting place and cell phones ready in the unlikely event you get separated.

    Enjoy your vacation.
