HI moms! Family of 3 (6yoDD) visiting Disney next April & would love your opinion on the best signature restaurant. We already have a dinner show planned & will have an extra dining credit to use on one meal. Thanks so much for your time!

Because you have asked this question far enough in advance to plan for it, I'm going to say that I very highly recommend California Grill in the Contemporary Resort. The food is excellent, and the view is the best in all of Disney. If you time it right, you will be able to dine during the Wishes fireworks. This restaurant boasts a spectacular vantage point! That great view comes at a price, though - a reservation that coincides with the fireworks is in high demand, so you will need to call early to reserve. Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) accepts reservations 180 days in advance, so plan accordingly.

Alternatively, Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge would be my restaurant of choice. A meal here is exceptional, especially with their incredible wine pairings. And the warm and inviting atmosphere provides such a welcome feeling, you may never want to leave. I highly recommend arriving early and staying late, so you can enjoy everything the resort has to offer. The animal viewing areas are especially nice at dusk and just after dark.

    Hope that helps!
