Hello! Our family had such a wonderful frist trip last fall (2012), that we're going AGAIN in fall 2013! How can we change things up so it won't feel like "been there done that?" Our children are 7 and 10. Thanks!

Kristen, so glad to hear that your first trip was such a huge success that you are heading back! As a very frequent traveler there, I can understand how you would like each trip to have new experiences to make it "new" and fun each and every time.

My first suggestion would be to choose a totally different resort to stay at. My family has stayed at almost all of them and my kids really get a kick out of staying and exploring the different resorts and all they have to offer.

Next, try out different dining options. Dining in and around the parks is another favorite aspect of our family vacations. We have our tried and true favorites that we frequent each time, but we also have a tradition of trying a new restaurant or experience each new trip.

Yet another tip would be to do something "out of the ordinary". Sure, you will want to ride the rides and see the shows, but throw an activity in there that you might not otherwise think of in the traditional sense.  For example, take an evening out to see a Movie Under the Stars or have dessert for dinner at Beaches and Cream or spend your day in the parks hunting for Hidden Mickeys.  The possibilities are endless. Another fun activity I discovered on my last solo trip was the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. It's a an interactive game throughout the park. You might see some unique places in the park that might of otherwise gone unnoticed!

I hope that these can help make this trip even more exciting than your last! Feel free to come back and ask me any other questions that might come up once your planning is underway. Start the countdown and the fun will be around the corner before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
