Family planning a trip

Hello, my family and I went to Disney World on 2017 and we had our magic bands a certain color, but since we’re going again on April of this year we wanted different colors this time around, how can I change that?

Hello there, Nora! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for sending over your question and allowing us to help plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Customizing our MagicBands is one of my family’s favorite pre-trip rituals! It’s so much fun to choose different colors and personalize each one with your name. We’ve gotten to the point where we have quite a collection of each color at this point!

Customizing your MagicBand for your upcoming trip is an easy process once you know how to do it! First, you’re going to need to log into your My Disney Experience account. Once there you’ve logged, click on the “My MagicBands and Cards” tab. This should be available on the drop-down menu underneath “My Disney Experience” in the top, right corner of the screen. Once there, you should see a MagicBand waiting to be customized for your upcoming trip. Click the “Get Started” tab and confirm the address that your order will be shipped.

After confirming your address, you should then be able to continue on with customizing your MagicBands! You’ll have the opportunity to choose from eight, solid colors and can customize the back of your MagicBand with a name or nickname. Now that we have so many MagicBands from past trips, I actually like to write in the date of whichever trip the new MagicBands will be used on! That way I can hold onto them and have a fond memory of the trip in which they were used!

I hope this information helps you customize your own MagicBand!
