I would like to take my family on a WDW vacation late in 2013. We would like to be there when the Christmas decorations/specials are in effect. Is it really crowded the first week in December ?

    Hi Bonnie,

I've been to Walt Disney World during the first week of December in the past and discovered only moderate crowd levels at that time.  In fact, years ago this was considered one of the slowest times of the year at the Disney parks but then word got out regarding how beautiful the Disney resorts and theme parks were during the holidays and an increase in park attendance resulted.  Don't worry, though, because the lines to attractions in early December are quite reasonable.  I think you'll enjoy your December 2013 vacation quite a bit.

Let us know if you need any help planning.  We'd be happy to answer any questions that may arise.

    Best wishes,
