Hi! My family is going to WDW late April thru early May. We are going to do a water park one day. How recommended is it for one piece swim suits for most of the rides at the parks?

    Hi, Christina!

Thanks for “swimming by” the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your awesome Walt Disney World Water Parks question! You will absolutely “flip” for the Water Parks at Walt Disney World. You’ve picked the perfect time of the year to swim on over to the Water Parks. I love visiting during the months of April and May!

As an avid Water Park enthusiast, I highly recommend a one-piece bathing suit for experiencing the Attractions at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. While I’m normally a 2-piece or “tankini” fan, I find it much easier to keep covered in a one-piece bathing suit. Some of the Attractions at the Water Parks have big drops and fast turns which can make keeping covered difficult. I’ve seen one too many “oopsies” at the Water Parks which could have easily been prevented with a one-piece bathing suit.

Please keep the following rules in mind:

    - String bikinis and thongs are not permitted.
    - Please pick a bathing suit free of grommets, zippers and other metal objects.
    - Bathing suits with inappropriate or vulgar words and/or pictures are not allowed.

Christina, I wish you a splashtacular good time during your vacation. Please visit us again if you have any more questions.

    Just Keep Swimming,
