My family of 10 will be at WDW on 12/19 to 12/25/11. Don't know our arrival time. Our first time to WDW. 8 adults and 2 children (3 and 6). What order do you suggest for visiting the parks as it is a busy time of year? We have park hopper tickets. Thanks

    Hi Kathy,

It's a busy time of year but extremely festive! The holiday decor is extraordinary.

Let's see if we can work up a crowd-busting itinerary for you. If I were going with my family on these dates, I would follow this plan:

Dec. 19 Since we aren't sure of your arrival time and travel day is usually exhausting, let's reserve this day to get settled into your resort, take a swim, visit Downtown Disney or travel to a nice restaurant for dinner. Then, rest up for touring the next day!

Dec. 20 Epcot in the morning, followed by Magic Kingdom at night

Dec. 21 Magic Kingdom in the morning, followed by Epcot at night

Dec. 22 Animal Kingdom, then Magic Kingdom at night

Dec. 23 Hollywood Studios, then hop to any park where you need more time. They will likely all be equally crowded this evening.

Dec. 24 All parks will be crowded. Visit the one that appeals to your family the most or re-visit a park in which you need to spend more time.

Dec. 25 If this is your departure day, spend time at your resort and/or have a nice meal at one of the resort hotel's before it's time to leave.

You'll have many magical memories to take home with you!
