My family and I are going to WDW for 4 days in November... Is it too much to plan to do breakfast at Tusker House and the first Safari ride at AK in the morning, then hop to HS for the day, then have dinner at Downtown Disney all in one day?

    Hey Laura-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. So my heart is racing with excitement just thinking about this park hopping journey. I love it. So get your best running shoes or fairy wings on and as Peter Pan says, “ Here we go!”

The bonanza day spanning over three parks/areas is not to much if you prepare and have realistic expectations. Make sure to make your advance dining reservation for each restaurant you wish to experience before your trip. Most Walt Disney World restaurants accept dining reservation 180 days in advance. Also use some Mickey Magic and book your three advance FastPass+ reservations for the attractions/shows you want at Disney’s Hollywood Studios not at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

I would book an early Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House around 8:00 a.m. Explore delicious delicacies from all over the African Continent with Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey. This is a very popular experience and I recommend you booking at 180 days before your dining date. Finish your meal around 9:00 a.m. and walk over to the Kilamanjaro Safaris and begin the adventure across the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. If there is nothing else you wish to experience then make your way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you are using Disney’s Complimentary Bus Service you should expect 20-30 minutes of transportation time.

Since you harnessed Mickey’s Magic you should have scheduled your first FastPass+ reservation around 11:00 a.m. with the others to follow preferably around noon and 1:00 p.m. After you finish the first three FastPass+ entitlements you may schedule a fourth at a FastPass+ kiosk. You should allow about 60 minutes to travel via Disney to the Downtown Disney Area for your final stop of the day to enjoy a great meal and street entertainment on Downtown Disney’s Westside.

    Your epic adventure waits.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
