Hello Moms! Our family is going to WDW April 22-27. How are the crowds and how hot will it be? Also, are there any special parties going on then? Like the ones they have for Halloween/Christmas? Thanks for your help!

    Hi there, Dana!

Glad to hear you are getting an early start to your planning; not only will this allow you time to create your perfect itinerary, but you'll be able to get started making your Advance Dining Reservations int the early part of your 180-day window!

While there is no sure-fire way to predict the crowd level at Walt Disney World, there can be assumptions drawn based on past crowd levels.

Historically, Walt Disney World attendance, which sees a slight downturn after the holidays, begins to rise again after President's Day weekend, due in large part to the Spring Break schedules of many schools (from elementary to college!). While certainly not as busy as summer, the spring season at Disney does draw a variety of vacationers from all over.

Weather in Florida during the spring is beautiful. The rains haven't really started yet (that happens in June), and temperatures typically range from the mid-70s to the high-80s during the day, and the 60s in the evenings.

While all of the regular Magic Kingdom parades and shows will be in full swing during your visit (weather permitting), there are no special hard-ticket events at the Magic Kingdom during April. On the up side, the Park will have normal operating hours and won't see early closures!

    Have a great time!

    See you later, celebrator!
