My family and I will be visiting the week of 7-23. Is it ok to purchase my tickets now? And to clarify , we are staying at the Howard Johnson - Do we get into the park early?

Hi, Angela! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hooray! Your Disneyland Resort vacation is just around the corner! You can certainly buy your tickets now for your trip later this month. I usually purchase my tickets months in advance and have never encountered any issues. If you buy your tickets online, you can select the eTicket option at checkout and within 24 hours you will receive ticket vouchers by email. You will then take these vouchers straight to the park gates without having to stop by a ticket booth first. Your vouchers will be exchanged for paper tickets that you will use for the duration of your trip. You can also scan the ticket vouchers into your Disneyland app as soon as you receive them. You can use the digital ticket in the app to gain entry to the parks and if you will be using Disney MaxPass during your visit, linking your tickets to the app is a necessity.

Since you’ll be staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel, the only way to receive early admission is to purchase a three-day or longer theme park ticket in advance. With a three-day or longer ticket, you will have one Magic Morning entitlement which allows you to enter Disneyland Park one hour early on either a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. This extra early hour is absolutely invaluable, in my opinion, as the crowds are the lowest early in the morning.

I hope your visit the Happiest Place on Earth is full of magic and memories!
