My family of 4 will be visiting WDW the 2nd week in June. I've been reading about wearing comfortable shoes and that Crocs may work well due to the frequent rain. I'm wondering if there are any rides that prohibit Crocs or flip-flops?

The only specific footwear requirements at WDW are that you must be wearing shoes and that shoes with wheels (Heelies) may not be used in their wheeled form. Other than that, you may wear whatever type of shoes you want on any Disney attraction. I've seen folks at WDW wearing everything from flimsy flip flops to silk stilettos.

The only ride at WDW that has any sort of shoe issue at all is Soarin' at Epcot. If you're wearing flip flops here, you'll be asked to take them off and stow them in a pouch under your seat during the ride. (They tend to fall off and distract other guests.) You can just pop them back on your feet when the ride is over.

There is A LOT of walking involved in a WDW vacation. You should wear whatever type of shoe makes you most comfortable.
