My family and I are visiting WDW the week of the 4th of July. We are arriving the day of the 4th and was thinking about visiting Animal Kingdom our first day. Are all the parks doing a fireworks display that night or only the Magic Kingdom?

Hi Andrea! Our family celebrated the 4th of July in Magic Kingdom a couple of years ago. Traditionally, the 4th of July fireworks enhanced fireworks display takes place in Magic Kingdom. The celebration includes a 360 degrees fireworks extravaganza presentation featuring patriotic music themed to spectacular pyrotechnics that ring throughout the park. Since you are arriving that same day, I recommend planning on getting there as early as possible and spending the remainder of the day at the park. Magic Kingdom reaches capacity early in the day during special holiday events. If your leave the park, or arrive too late in the day, there is a chance you will not be able to get in to watch the show.
