Hi! My family and I will be visiting WDW on May 27th. We plan to go to the Magic Kingdom. Do you think we can cover that theme park in one day or will we need more than a day? Thanks in advance!

That question is a bit complicated. Have you been to WDW before and know your way around already? Do you have small children who are too short to go on some of the rides? Do you have older children who may want to skip some of the rides that skew younger? Do you want to do "everything" or do you just want the highlights? Do you plan on taking a rest break during the day or are you going full sped ahead? So, without knowing more about you and your party I can't say for sure what would work for you. I will say that most people think that one day is not enough time to fully cover the Magic Kingdom.

My best advice to you would be to get a good guidebook. My favorite is the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. You can read reviews of all the attractions and make a list of the "can't miss" items for you. Then take a look at the touring plans in the back of the book. These give the optimal time-saving order to experience most of the rides. After doing your homework, you'll be able to have a better sense if one day or two (or more) at the Magic Kingdom is best for your individual family.
