My family and I will be visiting WDW Magic Kingdom this August but, not staying at the Resort. We are going for my daughter's birthday! Some members don't plan on getting on any rides, do they still have to pay for the entrance/their ticket? They're 50+Age

    Elizabeth:

Even if members of your party do not plan to enjoy the attractions or shows in the park, they will need a park ticket to gain entrance into the Magic Kingdom. If ticket cost is an issue, have you thought about celebrating her birthday at one of the restaurants at one of the nearby Magic Kingdom resorts and then letting those who wish to go to the Magic Kingdom finish off the day there? Or what about getting everyone together for a fireworks cruise on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon to enjoy the fireworks of the Magic Kingdom and the Electrical Water Pageant? They'll even decorate the pontoon with balloons! You may find it much more economical than buying a park ticket for everyone.

If you need more ideas, feel free to come back and let us help make this day special for everyone.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
