    Dawn from RI Asked

Family of 4 (11 y.o. and 15 y.o.) visiting WDW for first time this August. We have the DDP plus dining so we only have to pay for breakfast each day. We have reservations but I am wondering if there are restaurants that we just shouldn't miss. Opinions?

    Hi Dawn!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I think the following family restaurants are definitely "must do's":
    • Ohana in the Polynesian Resort
    • Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
    • Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club
    • Garden Grill in Epcot
    • Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge

One should also do Cinderella's Royal Table if there are young girls in the party and/or Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.

I also think Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is a "must do" though not on ever trip.  It is performed at Fort Wilderness and is absolutely wonderful.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
