My family and I will be visiting for one day only and unfortunately won't be staying a Disney resort. Can I still purchase the MagicBands? Also, am I able to get a FastPass?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Sarah ~

Your trip is just around the corner! Are you too excited to sleep yet?

I have all kinds of good news for you. All Guests, whether staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or off property, are able to purchase and use MagicBands and take advantage of the complimentary FastPass+ service. MagicBands are available for purchase throughout the Walt Disney World Resort at many of the merchandise locations. You can also order them online prior to your trip. If you decide to purchase MagicBands, you can link them online to your My Disney Experience account or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

You can make up to three FastPass+ selections at once. After you have redeemed your final original FastPass+ selection, you can make other FastPass+ selections (one at a time). If you plan to park hop, you can make your additional FastPass+ selection in the first theme park you visit or another theme park that you plan to visit later in the day. All FastPass+ selections are subject to availability and can be made at a FastPass+ kiosk inside a theme park or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Guests staying off property can begin making Disney FastPass+ service selections up to 30 days in advance. In order to make them prior to your trip, you will need to purchase your theme park tickets in advance and link them to your My Disney Experience.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
